After a stint in his youth as an environmental biologist/ GIS mapper, this maniac, with the loving support of a truly incredible spouse, decided to pursue a creative journey in search of a mythical illustrative power.

Wading through the minefield that is art school and subsequently healing from the insufferable demands to conform in a comparably, snooty profession to academia, this artist/author, after years in no man’s land has finally found his calling:

IRREVERENCE.

That’s right. Shrugging off the shackles of academic pomposity, haughty high-mindedness, shirking creeping sheepish conformity and abandoning authoritarian certainty, he’s finally flourishing in a world of fantastical ideas fortified by fanciful words, farcical scenarios and funny pictures.

He’s also aware that this illeism (referring to himself in the 3rd person) may appear pompous, but does it anyway, because he finds it difficult to take himself, or anything, that seriously when this world is clearly chock full of nutters.
